Popbuddies is a fast-growing brand that designs and manufactures its own line of anime and pop culture collectibles, including plush toys, lifestyle merch, and fandom-themed gifts.
We’re passionate about fandoms and know our B2B clients are, too. Whether they run a comic book store, a toy and gift boutique, or a large-scale convention booth, we help them curate shelves that excite collectors and casual fans alike.
We’re now expanding our Sales team with dedicated B2B Sales Agents. Someone who understands both the excitement of anime and Pop culture and the strategy behind successful wholesale relationships.
The Role: Your Mission as a Sales Agent of Popbuddies
You will be the face of Popbuddies in your network or region, helping stores stock fresh, exclusive collectibles that resonate with anime and pop culture fans. You'll develop wholesale relationships, pitch upcoming product drops, and earn commission on every sale you close.
This role is 100% commission-based and contractor-level, ideal for professionals with existing retail connections, experience in gift/toy/collector sales, or a strong understanding of fandom culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and onboard new B2B clients (e.g. comic shops, toy/gift stores, conventions, online retailers)
- Introduce clients to Popbuddies’ original product lines and seasonal drops
- Maintain relationships and manage reorders, upsells, and long-term partnerships
- Stay informed on product trends, release cycles, and client needs
- Operate independently: managing your own outreach, schedule, and pipeline
- Collaborate with Popbuddies HQ for support, materials, and logistics coordination
What You Bring
Required:
- Proven B2B sales experience in consumer products (toys, gifts, collectibles, lifestyle, etc.)
- A strong network of retail buyers, or the ability to build one
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven by results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and on commission only
- Basic familiarity with CRMs, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools.

- You've sold private label or licensed products before

What You'll Work On Depending on your role and project, you may be asked to design or help create:
- Character design, styling characters or creatures
- Stylized 3D figures, toy sculpts, or print-ready renders
- Themed apparel graphics, badges, patches, or other merchandise
- Character line-ups for drops, collabs, or fandom-specific series: Tools & File Expectations
- Illustrators: Procreate, or Photoshop, or vector tools, Adobe Illustrator
- 3D Artists: Blender, ZBrush, Maya, or similar (with STL/OBJ exports for manufacturing). Knowledge of modeling for production (files for factories) is a big plus.
